Hi there! I'm Ryoma, owner of Marine Shop Smiley 🐢🌈
I moved from Asakusa, Tokyo to Miyako Island with one simple wish — to bring more smiles to more people, in the most beautiful sea in Japan!
To be honest, I actually wasn't that great at snorkeling at first (lol). But after getting in the water a few times on trips, I fell completely in love with it. Once I got my diving license, I found myself diving almost every day just to meet sea turtles and clownfish — I basically became "ocean-obsessed" 🌊
I wanted to share that unforgettable feeling with as many people as possible.
That's the feeling that led me to start Marine Shop Smiley!
The name "Smiley" actually comes from combining "smile" and "family."
I love my own family deeply, and I want to guide every guest who joins our tours the same way I'd guide my own family — safely and attentively.
And I wanted to give as many people as possible the very best experience. That's the spirit behind Smiley.
At Smiley, we offer both:
